public transportation is an essential part of every city. Istanbul will simply stop functioning without its public transportation system for example. Now, Ankara has a new metro line integrated into its existing lines.

The AKM-Gar-Kızılay stations were added to the metro line of ankara today. There are considered a key point in the cities metro line. The new metro line has the capacity of 600,000 passengers daily.
The new metro line is 3.3 kilometers long, between Atatürk Culture Center (AKM) and the central district in Ankara, Kızılay. This new addition will bring Ankara's metro line to the total of 44.5 kilometers.

Apparently there are some plans of linking the new station to the M1 line and Batıkent Metro, Çayyolu Metro and Ankaray Metro.
