Turkey is struggling with the inflation currently, and this is not a news to anyone who knows anything about Turkey. The inflation issue is affecting everything from prices of day to day goods and services such as food, public transportation fees, and now gasoline prices. 
Currently in Turkey, unleaded gasoline, depending on the city, is being sold at around 36 Turkish Lira per Liter. Diesel on the other hand, is being sold at around 38 Turkish lira per liter. If the price was not already high enough, gasoline prices in Turkey are about to experience a new hike. The new change in price will come in to effect shortly, adding 1 Lira and 55 kurush to the existing prices. Meaning the new price of unleaded gasoline and diesel will be 37.55 and 39.55 TL respectively.
Meanwhile, the president Erdoğan pledges to address soaring cost of living. We'll see if the pledges and vows will "address" the issue of inflation or not soon enough.
