The streets of the city center are narrow streets that run parallel to each other. These streets are full of shops, big and small, that have a variety of products. Almost everything you can think of, from books and souvenirs to clothes and bags and shoes, is sold in these shops. If you are one of those tourists who like to walk the streets and shop around, this part of the city is perfect for shopping.

The old part of the city is a bit limited in terms of shops and stores compared to other areas. Instead, there are many shops, cafes and restaurants in the area that are suitable for relaxing and offer beautiful views of the historical monuments.

One of the experiences that Bodrum tourists should never miss is visiting the weekly markets. Especially if you have rented a place that has a kitchen and you want to cook for yourself, you can buy fresh ingredients and food products at reasonable prices from these weekly markets. Of course, some of these markets also have other products such as souvenirs and handicrafts, and even some of their stalls sell clothes. Visiting the weekly markets in Turkey is not only a good opportunity to shop, it is also a cultural experience. In these markets, you can experience the lifestyle of the people of the city up close.

One of these markets is Yalikavak Market, which is held on Thursdays. The reason for the popularity of this market is the variety of its products. Of course, most of its products are fresh fruits and vegetables and food, but it also has a few clothing and souvenir booths.

Although shopping in Bodrum might not seem that glamorous compared to shopping in Istanbul, it can still be a wonderful experience.
