After you are done looking for a job in Turkey, and you know your worker rights in Turkey, it is time to sign your job contract with your new employer. Here are some stuff that you have to consider and look out for in your new job contract
- If your new job's duration is 1 year or more, you have to have a contract. For jobs that last less than a year, the law doesn't require a contract from the employer.
- Salary, working conditions, work type and work location have to be mentioned in the contract
- Get a copy of the contract from the employer
- Training or trial period for a new job can not be more than 2 months.
- During the training or trial period, by law, you are entitled to be paid and insured.
- Your yearly or weekly days off can not be taken away by the employer. I recommend checking the worker rights in Turkey again and be sure that law is on your side.
