    How to register your address in government system in Turkey

    Living in Turkey means you have to deal with the Directorate of Population Office (Nüfus müdürlüğü) in your area every now and then. This office handles issues related to registering marriage, getting a drivers license and registering your address.

    For registering your current address, which is used for renewal of your residence permit, you can do this:
    First, you need an appointment for the population office in your area. Go to this website and click on ADRES KAYIT.
    Enter the required information carefully then click on DEVAM ET. Select the time and date of your appointment and click on RANDEVU AL. Save the time of your appointment which will be sent to your phone. When going to the population office, you need to have your home lease, bills that are issued in your name and your ID with you!

    After this process is done, you can print your official address papers from E-Devlet website.

    Open the e-Devlet website, and search for “Yerleşim Yeri (İkametgah) ve Diğer Adres Belgesi Sorgulama” which means, Place of residence, and address document inquiry.
    You have to put a check where it’s required, then on the next page, choose the option (Kendisi), which means, “myself” or /çocuk which means spouse/children.
    Choose “kişi talebi” to get it for yourself for later use.
    Now that you’ve done this, you could print this paper.
