What is the UETS Notification?

The Turkish Immigration Department has announced that starting April 15, anyone applying for an extension of their residence permit (all types) must use the UETS system.
UETS, or the National Electronic Notification System, is a virtual mail center provided by PTT (the Turkish postal service). It functions like an email or Edevlet account, where all government and official notifications are sent.
Why is UETS Important and Why Did the Immigration Department Make it Mandatory?
Previously, if your residence application was rejected, you had to wait for a physical rejection letter. Now, the immigration office will send official notifications, including rejection letters and other communications, via a PDF file to your UETS account. This system ensures faster and more reliable delivery of important documents.
To set up your UETS account, follow these steps:
Present the printed page to the residence office as required.
