First things first! you need to check and see if everyone in your car is ok! then, you gotta move your car out of the way if its possible. IF THE ACCIDENT IS REAL BAD, CALL 155 which is the emergency number in Turkey ASAP!

However, if its not that serious and you dont need emergency help, do the following
    1. Exchange information such as name, address, phone number and email, insurance info, license info, plate number.
    2. get the information of witnesses to the accident as well
    3. take pictures and film of the accident, try to remember as much detail as you can and write it down.
    4. write down the location of accident as well.
    5. call your rental company and give them all the details that you wrote down and gathered.
    6. call your own insurance company
    7. pay the compensation for the damages (which is determined by the police)
Now, depending on your situation and insurance, there are usually 3 possible scenarios:

Full coverage of the damage caused by the accident:
If you have your own insurance policy, find out what is fully covered and whether it includes a rental car or not. If your insurance policy does not cover such cases, then it is better to ask your rental car company to get a valid insurance policy that can cover all possible cases; It is recommended that you obtain a valid insurance policy from a reputable domestic insurance company or destination country.

    Coverage of damages to others:
If you have liability insurance, it usually also covers car rental. Otherwise, you can usually pay for the damage to the vehicles or other people's property through the car rental company's insurance policy. If you do not have car insurance (which is recommended to get), then you have to pay for them yourself.

Possibility of renting a car for more days
If your insurance policy can cover these extra days, there is no problem or worry; But if you have the necessary car for more days, then in addition to paying for extra days, you should also renew your insurance policy for this period. You can usually avoid paying any possible costs by purchasing additional insurance or exemption from potential damages.
