Istanbul is a lovely city with lots of beautiful spots. you can spend all your day walking around and not run out of things to see or experience. But there are some locations which might be better than others for a lovely walk around town.
Caddebostan Coast
this coast is located on the asian side of Istanbul. you can walk a track between Caddebostan and Fenerbahçe. not only you can enjoy the fresh air by the sea, you can also go for a picnic, ride a bike, or even rent roller blades and have fun.
Bebek
Bebek is a quiet neighbourhood in Istanbul outside the city center. the ottoman aristocrats built their summer houses in this area for a reason. the neighborhood is lovely with lots of locations for a peaceful walk.
Bağdat Avenue
this location is more of a shopping location, offering one of the grandest and longest shopping avenues in Istanbul. this 9 kilometer long avenue has a great sidewalk that can build up your stamina.
Balat Sahil
Istanbul has access to lots of water, so its no wonder that lots of ideal locations for walking is located around the seaside. this location has a 3 kilometer long track. here you get to see lots of locals enjoying fishing and relaxing by the beach.
Moda Sahil
located between Kadıköy and Kalamış, moda coast is one of the most famous places with a nice sea view. it has lots of nice shops and restaurants as well so you wont get bored easily.
