Students studying in Istanbul will continue to have their natural gas costs supported by Üsküdar Municipality. the mayor of Üsküdar Municipality visited some of the students in their dormitories and made a few announcements for the 2022-2023 year. This winter, the gas bills will be paid by the Üsküdar Municipality in the same manner as last years.
to receive this aid, students must be Üsküdar residents and enrolled at one of Istanbul's universities. Students will also receive Istanbul cards for the duration of the academic year.
How to apply for the subsidies?
You have to apply through Üsküdar Municipality website. if you are approved, you will receive four months of assistance with their natural gas bills, amounting to TL 400
