    Pelit Chocolate Museum is located in the Esenyurt area in the European and western part of Istanbul.

    History
    Plate Chocolate Factory started working in Istanbul in 1957. According to Bulent Baki, Production Manager of Plate Factory, the establishment of the Chocolate Museum was the idea of ​​a person named Selahattin Ayan, who had a strong interest in chocolate and creating chocolate works of art. He made all kinds of statues and monuments using chocolate. After some time, he decided to turn this personal project into a museum so that chocolate and art lovers can visit and enjoy it. The first chocolate museum in Istanbul and Turkey, was opened in 2014 in the vicinity of the Pelit chocolate factory and brought together different chocolate works of art. Walking among the chocolate waterfalls and smelling the smell of chocolate has attracted the attention of tourists, especially children. Pelit Museum houses many historical and cultural monuments of Turkey, chocolate house in real dimensions, Noah's Ark, legendary heroes, works of artists and statues of famous people and has become the largest chocolate museum in the world.

After some time, he decided to turn this project into a museum for the public to visit. So that lovers of chocolate and art can enjoy it. Istanbul Chocolate Museum has different parts, apart from the walls and floor of the museum, everything you see in the entrance and halls is made of chocolate.

    Entrance Hall
    In the entrance hall of the museum, you will be greeted with a cup of hot chocolate at the beginning, in this part we will see a wide range of chocolate creations such as Hansel and Gretel's chocolate house with real dimensions, Noah's ark and chocolate animals and history of nations panels. Then a cascade of chocolate will attract your attention and you can taste it.
    On the ground floor there is a chocolate shop that offers fresh chocolates, specialty truffles, cakes and handmade pastries. Quality raw materials and delicious recipes are the basis of Pelit Chocolate products.

    Istanbul Hall
    In Istanbul Hall, Turkish historical monuments such as Galata Tower, Sultan Ahmed Mosque, Dokhtar Tower, Bosphorus Bridge, Heydar Pasha Station, July 15th Martyrs Bridge, Taksim Nostalgic Tram and many other chocolate historical monuments are waiting for visitors. Also, in this hall, you can see the door of Dolma Baghche Palace, one of the most beautiful palaces of the Ottoman Empire, which is made with white chocolate and inside it there is milk chocolate and a little dark chocolate. More than 5000 kg of chocolate are used in this hall alone.
