Spring is a popular season to visit Turkey. Well, saying that doesn't mean much, since Turkey is popular in all seasons. But is Spring right for you?
Spring is on the warmer side in Turkey. Spring has some of the biggest cultural and religious festivals and ceremonies. The air is fresh and pleasant, which makes it ideal for a hike or walk in the city.

The temperature in cities like Istanbul, Ankara, Cappadocia, and Konya averages around 16-17 C. Beach cities like Antalya and Cappadocia are a tad hotter and average around 19-20 C. April is usually on the dry side, and it won't rain as much compared to winter.

What's the crowd like in Turkey in spring?
Really depends on your destination. Istanbul and Cappadocia are on the busier side, specially in April. Beach resorts are a lot less crowded in Aegean and Mediterranean sides. So, Izmir and Antalya are going to be pleasant and less crowded.
