In this list I'm gonna introduce some of the popular foods that can be fun to try while in Turkey.
Donner
This classic Turkish dish has become one of the national dishes of Germany today. Doner is served in different ways. The most common types are Durum and Alexander Kebab; Durum contains doner in lavash bread, and Alexander Kebab consists of doner on pide bread, which is served with yogurt, tomato sauce and butter.

Meatballs are one of the most common Turkish dishes and they are very tasty. Ichley meatballs form a crunchy outer layer of semolina that surrounds the inner material. Ingredients also include minced meat, onions, parsley and pine nuts.
Lahmajun
This dish is sometimes referred to as Turkish pizza; But the fact is that Lahmajun bears no resemblance to classic Italian pizza. This delicious Turkish dish consists of thin and round bread on which minced meat is poured and next to it, parsley and lemon are served.
