Although Craigslist is the go to site for ads in many countries, you might also want to check the local websites as well. One of these websites in Turkey is Sahebinden.

You can change the language of Sahebinden from Turkish to English as well, but you are gonna find out that most ads are written in Turkish. So, Google translate service will become your best friend if you are not fluent in Turkish.

Just like Craigslist you can find many different ads in Sahebinden. However, you might notice the real estate section is more active than others. Here is how to navigate to the real estate section:

Go to the Sahibinden website (If you are accessing the site from outside of Turkey, you will be required to login first)
From the left side, enter the Emlak part and click on Konut section.
From there, you can filter the results from Satılık (for sales), Kiralık (rent), and Günlük Kiralık (daily rent).
Next, in the second field, you can choose what type of house you want: villa, flat, apartment etc... Leave it on Konut to show all the results.
Next, you can select the city you want.
After that, you can select the neighborhood.
You can also select a range for what you want to pay.
In the Oda Sayısı, you select the number of rooms you want the house to have.
Finally, click on Ara to see the results. Clicking on Haritada Ara will show them on the map.

These are some terms that might help you narrow down your search even more:
Bina Yaşı (How old is the house)
Kat Sayısı (How many floors there are)
    Eşyalı (Furnished)
    Banyo Sayısı (Number of bathrooms)
    Aidat (condominium)
Depozito (Deposite which is usually 2 months worth of rent)

    BEWARE:
There are no moderators to check the ads posted by random people! So some if these ads might be false, wrong, or be a trap! So try asking someone who has experience in this regard for help!

Some of these ads are to trap the customer by posting a tempting ad, just for you to call and realize there is no such house available and then they try to sell you something else.
