The music festival will be held this month from June 6th to 24th in different parts of Istanbul with performances by classical musicians from different countries. The 50th Istanbul Music Festival will be organized by the Istanbul Cultural and Artistic Foundation (iKsv) and with the whole city of Istanbul. During this period, projects and repertoires will be presented that reflect the multicultural, multilingual and multicultural aspects of this metropolis. In this period of the festival, as in previous periods, performances of symphony orchestras, chamber orchestras, folk groups, solos and recitals will be held on the stage of city halls or in public places such as parks.
Of course, some of these performances will be staged for free.
Half a century after the Istanbul Music Festival, 45,000 musicians have performed in front of more than 3.5 million people.
Important performances of this year's festival include "Fazil Say and the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra", "Berlin Deutsches Symphony Orchestra", "Gauthier Caposon (French cellist)" and "Turkish Presidential Symphony Orchestra", "Valketon Orchestra", "Lukas Orchestra" (Ukrainian pianist) and the "Amsterdam Chamber Orchestra" and "Javier de Meister (French harp)) and the Brusan Quartet".
