You can rent a car daily or monthly in Turkey. The prices of renting a car daily starts from 200 TL and goes up depending on the model you choose to rent.
However, you will get better deals if you rent monthly. I'm going to put a price table down below, but! please note that with the current lira situation, these prices might change on daily basis! So, check with the daily prices before making a decision.

There are some documents that you'll need as well:

    1. Credit card or international credit card
To rent a car in Turkey you need a Visa or Master card. If you do not have these cards, you can easily open a Turkish bank account and get one within a day.
    2.Passport and it's photocopy
    3.Residence address
You can put your hotel's or home address.
    4. International or Turkish drivers license.

Of course there are some things that you need to be aware of as well:

    1. According to the insurance conditions, the person who rents a car daily in Turkey must be at least 18 years old, and for renting luxury and large cars, the applicant must be 28 years old.
    1. You need to be at least 18 years old to rent a normal car, and for luxury and bigger cars, you need to be at least 28 years old.
    2. In order to rent a luxury car, at least three years must have passed since you got your license

    3. Expenses related to fines and possible damages, etc., should be insured. Therefore, when renting, you must block a certain amount as collateral on your credit card. This method is called Provizyon in Turkey.
    4. When returning your rented car, a one hour delay is tolerated. Any longer than that however, you'll be charged for 1 extra day.
    5. Check the fuel level when you get your car! Also, you wont be reimbursed for extra fuel in the tank when returning the car!
    6. You can not leave the country with your rented car.
    7. Cancelling your rental contract 24 hours before receiving the car, will result in a penalty.
    8. You'll be charged for extra milage up to 1.5 Liras per kilometer.
    9. Take pictures and videos of the car the moment you receive it. Otherwise you might get scammed when returning the car.

I think some of these rules depends on the car rental company ...
I've rented cars before, one company had very strict rules while another company gave me a car without taking credit card !
    I'm a yabanci too ;-)
