If you wanna work or study in Turkey, you might have came across the term DENKLIK. DENKLIK indicates that the degree received by individuals outside of Turkey is valid. 
You are required by law if you want to study or work in Turkey to validate your degree by a DENKLIK. There are two organizations that handle this matter in Turkey depending on what degree you want to validate.
What are the necessary documents for high school diploma?
Depending on the education system in your country of origin, you might need different things. If you have completed a 12- year study and got your diploma, the only things you have to provide are your diploma and transcript of the 12th grade.
However, if you have a "Pre-university" year in your education system, you are also required to provide the degree and transcript for that as well.
You are also required to:

Then fill in the information form such as national number, name, university degree after translation, place and date of university degree and student papers, you must register the required documents to send an initial application to the Turkish Higher Education. The organization then sets a time for you or the legal representative you have chosen to do this to present the documents in person along with the documents we have mentioned.
Other things to know about DENKLIK
Depending on what you graduated in, you might need to do some things differently.
If your major is one of medical disciplines, the process might take up to 1 year. the process for other majors will be finished in 3 to 6 months.
You might also be asked to take a exam and obtain a passing score as well!
you wont be able to work in public or private companies
you wont be admitted to any university
you wont be able to work as an engineer
and, you wont be able to have an office to practice medicine.
Some other notes about DENKLIK
1- If you have participated in training and specialized courses outside universities, they must be approved by the notary office and it is necessary to present the original documents and their translation.
2. Students graduating from different countries must have a copy of their passport with their entry and exit page, which has been approved and translated by a notary public.
Note:
You do not need to have a Turkish language degree ( TOMER) for this process. However, having this degree might help you to land a job or university easier!

- Medical graduates must take the STS exam (TUS exam) and get a passing score of at least 40 out of 100 points.
- Dental graduates in the STS exam ( DUS exam) must obtain a passing score of 40 out of 100.
- Pharmacy graduates must be admitted to an oral interview conducted by Anadolu University.
- The STS-2 engineering exam with the minimum passing score of 40.
- The exam for teachers is called KPSS, which has a minimum passing score of 50.
- Law graduates must either take the STS exam or take a series of courses at Turkish universities, as otherwise their degree for equivalence will not be accepted.
