Exemption of work permit is an exemption issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of Turkey, and through it, a foreigner has the right to work and stay in Turkey without obtaining a work permit, during the stay.
In its new announcement, the website of the Turkish Immigration Department announced the exemption of work permits for foreigners who intend to stay in Turkey.
Based on this, foreign nationals can submit their request to use the work permit exemption within the framework of Article 13 of the International Labor Law No. 6735 and Article 48 of the Executive Regulations of the International Labor Force in the electronic exemption system of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security online.
According to Article 13 of the International Labor Law , you can apply for this exemption from inside or outside Turkey.
It is also mentioned in this law that apart from a natural person, a legal person can also apply for this exemption for the person in question.
Also , Article 48 of the executive regulations of the international workforce specifies the details of the work permit exemption and the duration of this exemption.
This law has 22 notes, for example, foreigners who are active in the scope of scientific, cultural and artistic activities for up to one month, foreigners who provide overseas services up to three months, those who work in circuses or exhibitions. They are allowed to work for up to six months and for sports activities up to four months.
How does Exemption of work permit work?
Exemption of work permit is considered as a substitute for residence permit.
If the exemption of a person's work permit expires, their right to stay will also be invalidated.
If a person has a residence permit in Turkey other than the exemption, his other residences will not be invalidated by the cancellation of this exemption.
How to apply for work permit exemption?
To obtain this permit, you must go to the website

and enter your residence number or passport there.
If you live in Turkey, you must log in through the E-devlet system and fill in the relevant forms or submit documents.
If the Turkish Ministry of Labor's assessment of your case is positive, you have to pay the fee for processing your request.
