The Ramadan of 2023 was very eventful for Turkey. Istanbul got a new metro line, Blue mosque will open up soon, as well as the maiden's tower! Now, Ankara - Sivas high speed train is scheduled to open after Ramadan bayram on april 28th 2023. Are all of these projects being rushed along for the upcoming election? who knows! The train will have the speed of 250 kph and will let you travel between Sivas and Ankara in 2 hours. if you want to travel by road it is 603 km long! the train tracks reduce it to 405 km long.
This new line has 8 stations: Elmadağ, Kırıkkale, Yerköy, Yozgat, Sorgun, Akdağmadeni, Yıldızeli and Sivas.
